1. Financial Management Planning

Westport Properties monitors the current and projected financial requirements for the property. Financial management includes the following:

  • Annual Audit / Tax Return Preparation
  • Budget Preparation
  • Long and Short Term Financial Planning


2. Meetings

Board Meetings

Westport Properties will attend board meetings in management capacity or be on hand to answer questions and give suggestions to the board.

Annual Meetings

We will prepare and distribute annual meeting notices; coordinate meeting arrangements, prepare agendas and board meeting packets for distribution at the meeting. Westport Properties will attend annual meetings


Westport Properties will assist and advise in forming committees.


3. Resident Relations
Westport Properties realizes the importance of a well developed resident relations plan that is specific to the needs of each individual property. This will include the rules and regulations as well as community and resident communication.


4. Administration Management

Activities encompassed by this category will include but are not limited to the following:

Preparation of the management plan, advisory services,
rule enforcement, insurance program,
employee files, resident files.


5. Insurance

Westport Properties will bid and advise on the proper insurance
coverage on behalf of the Association.


6. Resale Disclosures

Westport Properties will process requests for documents for resale and
for refinancing.


7. Maintenance Program

Westport’s philosophy supports a thorough, well organized and effective maintenance policy implemented through the board of directors. We believe conscientious maintenance may mean the difference between the success and failure of a property. If the grounds and buildings are well maintained and attractive, the value of a building will increase and aid in the selling effort as well as resident retention.


8. Contractors, Vendors and Handymen

Westport Properties has a staff of highly trained maintenance people.
We also have access to licensed contractors, landscapers and suppliers.


9. Board Training

Westport offers Board Training to all our clients. If you’re new on the board or a seasoned veteran join us to learn and share.
